Inaugural Bookin’ It 5K Race & Fun Run

The Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library hosted the inaugural Bookin’ It 5K and Fun Run at Sandy Creek Park on February 23, 2025. We raised more than $6,000 with all proceeds going for our campaign to support the new East Side library branch.

Runners competed in a 5K race and Fun Run, with many wearing book-themed costumes. First-place winners were presented with gift cards for Avid Bookshop.
