Café au Libris: Tracey Enerson Wood

  • Athens-Clarke County Library 2025 Baxter Street Athens, GA, 30606 United States (map)

Join us for an evening with USA Today best-selling author Tracey Enerson Wood as she shares her newest historical novel with a special presentation.

The President's Wife features Edith Bolling Wilson, second wife of Woodrow Wilson whose stroke during his time in office drew his wife into the role of acting president. As Wood notes: "Of all the women in power in our history, I believe the unelected Edith Wilson has come closest to the position of president, so she should be studied for both the positive and negative things she did and the lessons learned from that.”

A military wife and mother of two, Tracey Enerson Wood is a playwright and retired registered nurse. Her prior historical novels are The Engineer’s Wife and The War Nurse. A New Jersey native, she now lives with her family in Florida.

Copies of The President’s Wife will be available for sale and signing at the event. Light refreshments will be served.
